Please note that the Grants application process is currently closed & under review.
Following a review of the Grant Award Scheme and Community Chest we now have one new, simplified funding application called Application for Support.
The North West Ipswich Big Local Trust’s vision is to bring real improvements to the community and to the lives of people living in it. Part of our work is to encourage the development of local projects, driven by local people and organisations. Our ‘Application for Support’ is one way of supporting the development of projects in response to local need. We want to work with individuals & organisations across the area to enable the community of Whitton, Whitehouse & Castle Hill to thrive and be a beacon of community resilience and opportunity.
Funding support and partnership approach is one way of achieving this aspiration.
If you feel you have a project that meets the criteria as stated in our Big Local Plan then we would welcome your application for financial support. Please do get in touch with us as you are putting your idea together as we believe that projects have a greater sustainable future if they are rooted into community. We would therefore welcome the opportunity to talk with you about how we can work in partnership with you to develop your idea putting local people at the core.
This is a rolling programme. You can apply at any time & your application will be considered at the next resident-led partnership meeting.
You can apply for support from £1 up to £10,000, but please note the match funding element required as stated in our guidance notes.
Application for Support is currently closed and under review.
Please bear with us whilst we undergo a few changes with our Grants process.
If you have any questions or an idea for a project, please contact us on 07976565329 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org for further info.
In the Summer of 2015, the BLT refreshed its Big Local Plan. New priorities for action have been identified as part of the initial review stages and funding will be awarded to those projects and initiatives which best address the following priorities.
- To support young people to realise their full potential, increasing life chances.
- To provide the necessary support to older people to tackle social isolation, maintaining physical and mental health.
- To increase interaction between older and younger people living in the North West Ipswich area.
The new priorities have been agreed and signed off by the BLT Partnership and applications are now being accepted. As always, updates and information will be posted to the BLT website, Twitter and Facebook. If you have not signed up already, please do so now! Don’t miss out.
